I absolutely love this outfit! Denim shirts are a staple and I finally bought one this year. I’m into the casual chic look, so I like to mix casual pieces with dressier items. It’s different look for me, but I love to experiment and switch things up.

My necklace and denim shirt is from Torrid. I love Torrid. Not only are they an awesome company to work for, I have tons of fashionable items at my fingertips. This necklace sold out really fast, and it is almost sold out online. The pastel colors are very soft but bold enough when pairing with simple items. Statement necklaces are always a great thing to have to spruce up any outfit. This denim shirt is selling fast as well. This type of shirt is very versatile because you can create denim on denim looks to dressing it up like I did. On the website, it says to go up one size, but I bought my regular size 2. Because I am busty, the buttons space throughout the day but it’s nothing double-sided tape can’t fix. I tried on the size 3 and it was bigger than what preferred. I paired it with this gorgeous, pleated maxi skirt from Forever 21. I’m average height, 5’5″, so the skirt hits the floor perfectly. I didn’t do too much jewelry with this look because I wanted the focus to be simplistic, with a bold necklace. I wore a blush pink and gold ring, also from Torrid, I bought last year.
