It’s been a while since I’ve blogged. I believe I haven’t posted anything since it was cold outside! I was busy with school and working, I barely had time to blog anything. Since the summer is here, I have more time for something I enjoy doing…shopping and dressing up!

Summer Slayage is about slaying to the Gods with your personal style this summer, which I plan to do. I literally bought this outfit the day before my blog shoot and I had to include it! I love mustard yellows because they compliment my skin tone. Melanin poppin’ right?? I always gravitate toward any type of yellows, corals and reds because they look really good on my skin. Us women of color can really rock any colors…I know I can. Ha!

I usually shop Forever 21 online, but I went shopping with one of my best friends and I came across this top. I LOVE CROP TOPS! I didn’t get a chance to show some stomach skin because the crop top met right where my skirt started. I’m also a big fan of skirts. I’ll rock a skirt everyday if I could! Midi skirts are my favorite. Something about a midi skirt seems so classic to me.

I love this look for summer because bold prints, bold colors and confidence will guarantee your Summer Slayage. Basic looks are a necessity, but its good to switch it up.
