F is for Fur!

It’s finally cold in Dallas!! It changes from time to time, but I love when I can break out my boots and keep them out. This week I wanted to play with some items I recently got from Boohoo. They are getting a lot of my money these days. I really like them because they have edgy pieces, yet they can be used as classic items in your every day wardrobe. This time, I wanted to try out a skort. Yes…I said SKORT(Click here to buy). I haven’t worn one since I was forced to wear uniforms in middle school, so I was a little hesitant.

What’s different about this skirt, as opposed to the one I wore in middle school, is the length and the front wrap area. This a lot shorter than I am used to. The bottom of the shorts hit the bottom of my butt cheek!!! It’s not too bad though, you just have to be comfortable wearing short shorts. The front wrap area is great because it hangs a little lower in the front. I really like that aspect. It gives some asymmetrical play to the outfit with doing too much.

My faux fur vest is also from Boohoo (Click here for similar styles). I bought it some months ago. I love how its not as bulky like some of the other vests I have bought. It hangs a little lower as well. It’s very sleek and smooth. It’s a great addition to any outfit because of it’s simplicity yet edginess. I posted these boots in an outfit on Instagram and so many people wanted to know where they were from. I got these boots from Torrid. I love how comfortable they are. I get most of my shoes from Torrid because I have big feet. They make everything wide width and wide calf. JUST AMAZING!

My necklace is from…Boohoo as well (Click here to buy!)! Ever since I received it last week, I’ve been wearing it like crazy. It is great to pair with simple black pieces to give them life or with similar colors to have a consistent theme. I love a great statement necklace. Here’s a better look below!
