Hi! So, this post is about wearing the same florals in a different season. I bought this matching blazer and pant set from Boohoo this past fall, and the jacket is so cute I wanted to wear it this spring & summer. This print isn’t too dark, so I figured I could do just that! I love creating different looks for items. It makes them versatile and makes it worth the money when you wear it more.
The first look I went for was a casual day out. I’m a sucker for blazers. I have over 65 blazers in different prints and colors…don’t judge me. I love to mix them with pencil skirts to distressed denim. It adds a classic flare to the outfit. I used a simple ivory tank top (from previous posts’) to keep the spring/summer look I was going for. I felt it I did black, it would darken theme I was going for. My boyfriend jeans are from almost two years ago from Torrid. That’s how great their jeans are! I’ve had all of my jeans from Torrid for almost 4 years. If you take care of them and have different pairs to rotate, they will last! I love the fit of boyfriend jeans because they offer a casual look without being a skinny jean or bootcut. It has a straight leg opening, which is very comfortable. My heels are also from Torrid last year (first post). They have similar ones on the site now!
The second look is also a casual look. I’m all about showing skin and I’m still obsessed with crop tops. This crop top and skirt is from Forever 21. I used the same jacket and tied it around my waist. My boots are from Torrid, last year. You can always find these types of boots around though. In Texas, our weather is so up and down, so you always want to keep a pair around. I like these types of looks because its something quick to throw on and you’re out the door.
The third look I went for was a going out outfit. These matching pants fit a little loose, so I could’ve went down a size. I would’ve preferred them tighter in the waist but the same fit in the legs. I decided to pair with a black vest from Fashion to Figure to dress it up. The fit is ok. I have the right size, but I hate when the insides are not sewn down. There is a similar one at Torrid that I might try. I really want high-waisted, floral trouser pants. I’m on the hunt for them!
