I’m so in love with Boohoo. They just launched a collection with Nadia Aboulhosn and it is amazing! I purchased a few items, but I wanted to cover my two favorites! First is this off the shoulder, asymmetrical black dress. I love this dress. It is very stretchy and the length is perfect for me. Being 5’5” is a great thing. Lol! From the pictures, the dress looks a bit sheer, but on first look it really isn’t. I believe it’s the way the light is hitting it. My favorite part about this dress is the asymmetrical side. It makes the dress sexier. I will for sure wear this out for a night out in the city! I wish the skirt layer beneath the dress was a bit longer, but it isn’t too bad. My shoes are last year from Torrid and I can’t remember where I got the necklace from.

The next item I bought was this jumpsuit. I contemplated getting the white, but I knew I would wear this one a lot more. I might order the white in the future. This jumpsuit fit like a glove. It fits true to size for me. I love the cutouts and the mesh sleeves. The detail in this jumpsuit is what made me buy it. Who doesn’t love a jumpsuit?? I had to wear a strapless bra with this jumpsuit, so my bra wouldn’t show. I have a black strapless bra from Lane Bryant I received as a present. It works pretty good. I will definitely be wearing this out as well! My shoes are from Torrid’s holiday collection this last year.

There is a lot you can do with simple, black items like these. Pops of color, like shoes, thin waist belts or statement necklaces, will also help make these pieces your own.
